Activities 

​We provide two Youth Club sports sessions and two English/ reading/ homework classes each week (English Classes during term-time only).

These sessions are all free. 

Young people can turn up at any of these sessions and register.

​We do not have an office so you cannot drop in and register unless the sessions are on.

On Mondays, we run the English Class and Youth Club from Shipman Youth Zone and on Thursdays, the Reading Session at Custom House Library and then the Youth Club is at Newham Leisure Centre.​​

Our English Classes are drop in and young people can receive help with homework and can learn/ improve their English and also do art/ creative projects.

The Youth Club sessions include:

  • Football

  • Volleyball

  • Table tennis

  • Pool

  • Badminton

  • Board Games

  • Basketball

  • Boxing/ gym

  • Workshops

  • Snacks and drinks

We also run regular, free or low cost trips and residentials - young people will be invited to these sessions when they attend the club.​

These sessions could include:​​​

  • day trips to bowling, swimming, ice-skating, the beach, cinema and much more

  • residential trips (for 3-5 days) to different places - outdoor activity centres, Wey Island Trust and The Quadrangle

  • art projects - such as film-making, photography and drama

  • referrals onto employ-ability projects such as Breadwinners or ESOL courses

  • referrals for free bikes with The Bike Project

  • sports tournaments with other clubs
