Work and Volunteer

We are always happy to welcome new volunteers at Dost to help out at:

  • Club sessions

  • Trips

  • Events

  • With fundraising or networking

  • With Governance

If you are interested in helping out, please read through the Code of Conduct and the role description and complete the application form or just get in touch for a chat about your experience/ availability and request.

We are particularly happy if you have any background in:

  • Sports

  • Arts

  • Youth work

  • Working with refugees

Volunteers from a refugee background would make a positive contribution to the group and we would love to have you on board.

Volunteering at Dost can provide you with valuable work experience and skills.

You will have the opportunity to work with an exceptional group of young people, who are lively, fun, resilient and in need of positive role models in their lives.

Sessional Youth Work Role

We are recruiting for a Sessional Youth Worker to cover one or both of our busy popular Youth Club sessions with the option to also cover more sessions, projects, trips and residentials.  Please check out the advert and Job Description and if you are interested, complete the application form and Equal Opportunities Form, if you are happy to do so.  We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible (from February 2025 onwards) and will do interviews on a rolling basis.

Become a Trustee

We are always happy to hear from anyone who would like to become a trustee and can help shape and grow Dost.

Please see the role of the Trustee and application attached and we look forward to hearing from you!
